Zakynthos is linked to the main land of Greece either by the Island Hopper or by a ferry connection.
There is a ferry crossing from Zante Town to Kilini (mainland Greece) or Kilini to Zakynthos around 9 times per day (varies during the season and weather).
In the summer there is also a routing between Zakynthos (Ag Nikolas, in the North of the island) to Kefalonia (Pessada).
There are many ferry crossings between Greece (Patras, Igouminitsa) and Italy (Bari, Brindisi, Ancona, Venice).
The islands in the Aegean Sea are connected with Piraeus (Athens) and various other ports. Ideal if you want to go ‘Island Hopping’.
